REPLICA OF FLAGELLATED 

JESUS OF SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA 

Taller de Arte Religioso Salmerón has created a replica of the Flagellated Christ image from Santiago de Compostela.

The image was 3D scanned, reproduced in resin, and hand-painted, faithfully replicating the original, which dates from the 18th century.

This image belongs to the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus the Flagellated and was carried in procession on Holy Thursday. On Holy Tuesday, it was blessed by the Archbishop of Santiago, Francisco José Prieto Fernández.

WORKS FOR MALTA

Taller de Arte Religioso Salmerón has crafted candlesticks, amphorae, processional candles, and a knocker for the Oratory of the Holy Crucifix in Birgu, Malta.
